Stainless Steel Tanks
Stainless steel tanks are widely used in food, beverage, dairy, and biopharmaceutical production. They store raw materials and finished liquids and support processes such as mixing, blending, fermentation, extraction, emulsification, and aseptic holding. These tanks are made from SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel and have polished inner surfaces and smooth, rounded corners that can be easily cleaned, to reduce the areas where product residue can accumulate.
Common Tank Types
- Storage Tanks: hold raw materials, intermediate products, or finished liquids
- Mixing Tanks: blend ingredients and prepare beverage or food formulations
- Extraction Tanks: extract soluble components from tea, fruit, herbs, or other raw materials
- Fermentation Tanks: provide controlled conditions for fermentation processes
- Emulsification Tanks: disperse oil, water, and other ingredients into a more uniform mixture
- Aseptic Tanks: store sterilized liquids before aseptic filling
- Blending Tanks: mix ingredients according to a specific formulation
Based on the process, each tank can be fitted with agitation, heating and cooling, CIP, SIP, and automatic control systems. The tanks can work as individual units or be combined with other processing equipment as part of a complete production line.
