Stainless Steel Emulsification Tank
Stainless steel emulsification tanks prepare uniform mixtures from ingredients that do not naturally combine, such as two liquids, a liquid and a solid, or gel-like materials. The tanks can also handle dissolution, suspension, dispersion, homogenization, and particle size reduction. After the agitator mixes the ingredients, the high-shear emulsifier recirculates the batch through its workhead. The workhead breaks down the droplets and particles into smaller, more uniform sizes, so the ingredients stay evenly distributed during storage and are less likely to separate, settle, or form agglomerates.
Each tank includes an inner vessel, jacket, insulation layer, agitator, high-shear emulsifier, piping, and valves. The jacket heats or cools the batch to the required temperature before and during emulsification. Once emulsification is complete, the temperature is adjusted to the appropriate level for storage.
